This historic downtown property underwent a thoughtfully designed renovation focused on relocating mechanical equipment and adding a first-floor bathroom. The construction of a two-story rear addition allowed for the creation of a larger primary suite, two additional upstairs bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a much-needed first-floor bath.
Given the historic significance of the home, every aspect of the project was carefully considered to respect and preserve its architectural character. The design team worked to ensure historical accuracy, thoughtfully distinguish new construction from original fabric, and create a seamless integration between old and new, resulting in a cohesive and functional home that honors its history while meeting modern living needs.
