Staying within the original footprint of this Daniel Island kitchen, we were able to create a new layout that was more functional for the homeowners, as well as beautiful and modern. A large hood over the center island cooktop served as a rather unsightly focal point for the room. We swapped the location of the sink and stovetop, relocating the sink to the island and the stovetop to the back wall. The refrigerator was also moved to the back wall, making room for a beautiful new bar with small beverage refrigerator and an ice machine. The deep blue cabinetry and mirrored tile backsplash on the bar, along with the blue island cabinetry and cobalt blue quartzite, leathered  tops are now the new focal point of this stunning space. On the perimeter, white cabinets, Caesarstone countertops, mosaic tile backsplash and brass fixtures tie the whole room together.
