The existing porch on this Mediterranean style home was long, but narrow. The homeowners wanted to expand the size of the porch and incorporate some of their own unique style into the space. The sitting area features a 36″ woodburning fireplace with a TV mounted above it. The built-in bar is made from barn wood and features an undercounter refrigerator and recycled glass countertop. In order to allow for true year-round enjoyment of the screened porch, retractable vinyl screens can be lowered with the touch of a button – allowing them to maintain an unobstructed view while also trapping the heat from the fireplace in the porch during colde rmonths.
