This kitchen went from drab to fab! The original builder-grade kitchen featured a small center island and peninsula bar that left the space feeling cramped and closed off. To open up the space, we removed the bar and island as well as an existing laundry closet at the back of the kitchen. This allowed us to create continuous counterspace along the back and side wall of the kitchen. The new space features Quartz countertops, white wall tile, and dark hardwood floors. The homeowner’s style is showcased through the use of white upper cabinets and blue lower cabinets that compliment the decorative tile backsplash behind the cooktop. A custom wood hood and matching floating shelves tie the space together.
