Kris King

Kris joined Classic in February of 2024 and has 25 years of experience in the industry. He has previously worked as a project manager and even had his own construction company for a while before deciding he wanted to work with a team again. Originally from Park View, Iowa, Kris moved to the low country 11 years ago to escape the cold up north and spend more time in the sun. He has an Industrial Engineering Technical degree and uses many of the skills from that program to inform his work today.

He is a problem-solver and a great asset to the Classic Team! His experience in management made him the perfect fit for our team and he was able to jump right in and begin taking on projects. His dedication to our team means we have more support for our guys in the field and helps keep our designers up to date on all their projects. He is also highly skilled in carpentry and lends his knowledge and skills to those in the field daily and ensures that job sites run smoothly, stay clean and orderly, and remain on schedule. Whenever an issue arises, Kris is quick to take charge to figure out the best solution and communicate promptly with those involved in the office.

In his time away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, riding his motorcycle, and trying out all the local restaurants Charleston has to offer!
