Bob started Classic Remodeling in 1989, with the mission to deliver designs that are aesthetically pleasing while still being functional and fitting a family's lifestyle and needs. As a child, Bob learned to visualize and think three-dimensionally by working wooden puzzles – often combining 2 or 3 puzzles together to solve at once. By high school he'd developed a woodworking hobby and was building cabinetry. His first job in the industry was doing punch list work for a Mt. Pleasant home builder. Deciding this was a career he wanted to pursue, he went on to earn his degree in building science from Clemson University.
Bob is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Classic Remodeling and serves as one of the lead salesmen and designers, focusing on Classic's large-scale renovations and additions. He is also constantly evaluating the products used by Classic Remodeling, and researching the latest technologies, and systems to help deliver the highest quality and best value to each of Classic's clients.
Under Bob's leadership, Classic has garnered numerous local, regional and national awards including Best of Houzz for design and service, GuildQuality Guildmaster, Chrysalis Award and recognition as a member of Remodeling Magazine's "Big 50" list and Qualified Remodeler Magazine's Top 500.
Bob stays very busy with Classic, but in his free time enjoys boating and traveling with his wife, Sue, as well as spending time with kids and new grandbaby.

As Classic’s General Manager, Kim is the hub that keeps the business running like a well-oiled machine. Kim has been with Classic for 10 years, spending 4 years as a lead designer and salesperson for Classic before moving into an office management role. Her experience gives her a unique understanding of all facets of the business. Kim is continually evaluating Classic's business processes to ensure we're operating efficiently and delivering on our promises to our clients. On any given day she may be found reviewing design plans and production schedules or crunching numbers. And every now and then she still steps in to run a job or two for a past client.
When she’s not hard at work, Kim enjoys traveling, boating and grilling out with friends.

Amy joined the Classic team in 2016 after spending 8 years working in accounting for Lemans Corporation in her hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin. Deciding she’d had enough of the frigid Wisconsin winters, she and her family packed up and headed south, landing in Charleston.
Wisconsin’s loss was our gain! As Classic’s Office Manager, Amy oversees the bookkeeping side of the business including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable and keeps the office side of things running smoothly.
When she's not crunching numbers and balancing books, Amy enjoys spoiling her dog Gus and indulging in her love for cars.

Krista came to work for Classic in 2014, bringing a wealth of experience in the remodeling field. She grew up in her family's cabinet shop on Hilton Head, where she began working as a designer in 2000. She then went on to spend 7 years as a designer in New York City, working for a large kitchen and bath showroom as well as a prestigious design-build firm.
Krista has an eye for great design and as Classic's Kitchen and Bath Specialist she guides clients through the design and selections process to help them achieve their vision for the project.
Krista leads an active life outside of Classic, and can often be found on the volleyball court, enjoying time with her kids, or whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen.

Christy joined Classic in 2016, bringing 17 years of experience in both renovations and custom home building to our team. She started doing residential design when she was just 18 and went on to earn her Masters in Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Her career has taken her to various locations across the country including Washington DC, Hawaii and here in Charleston.
A Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS), she enjoys helping clients select finishes for projects ranging from kitchens and baths to additions.
When she’s not working she enjoys hanging out with her two kids and husband, traveling, boating and going to the beach.

Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Ben joined the Classic team in 2015. With 11 years of experience, Ben worked most recently as an assistant project manager for a local architect, before coming on board at Classic. Ben is responsible for submitting for permits, doing site documentation and measuring, and 3D drafting and design.
Between work and home, where Ben is dad to two young children, he definitely keeps busy. But, when he does have a little free time he enjoys hitting the beach, cooking and playing guitar.

With 15 years of experience in logistics, there is no better person to put in charge of Classic’s on-site warehouse. Greg is responsible for ordering products for each project, tracking delivery and maintaining an accurate inventory of what is stocked in our warehouse and delivered to our job sites.
Greg is an avid Auburn football fan and enjoys traveling and spending time on his boat during his off hours.

Autumn joined Classic in 2011 after spending 9 years in marketing for a luxury real estate developer in Charleston. She is responsible for managing all facets of marketing for Classic including advertising, social media, and event planning.
Outside of work Autumn keeps busy with her husband and two kids and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
"I feel a lot of pride in the work we do at Classic. There’s a saying in the shop, ‘There are industry standards and then there are Classic standards’ – we set the bar pretty high around here."
Jason has been with Classic for 16 years and in the construction business for over 25. He began working construction in high school, helping his uncles with framing and masonry during the summers and eventually started his own construction business in Pittsburgh before deciding to move south.
Jason has moved through the ranks at Classic, starting as an in-house painter and dry wall installer before becoming a project craftsman and eventually moving into a sales position. The combination of his technical knowledge, sales experience and client management skills makes Jason ideally suited for the role of field supervisor.
As field supervisor Jason is responsible for managing project schedules and budgets, overseeing all field staff and subcontractors and scheduling all warranty work.
An avid skateboarder, Jason can often be found at the local skate parks or hanging out with his kids.
"The nature of my work at Classic keeps me on the road most of the day visiting job sites. I really enjoy being able to watch our projects progress from start to finish and see the transformations."
Mike has been with Classic for over 10 years and is responsible for procurement and delivery of materials for all of our jobs. And with 8 crews in the field Mike is always busy. He works hand in hand with our project craftsmen, field supervisor, sales people and production coordinator to ensure materials are delivered when needed, dump trailers are emptied as necessary, and our fleet of vehicles stay running, helping to keep our jobs progressing without delay.
In his down time, Mike often heads to his lake house or spends time with his kids and grandkids.

Ray has been a project craftsman for Classic for 14 years. He has over 40 years of experience in the residential building field where he started out doing roofing, framing and siding. His extensive experience makes him perfectly suited to run some of Classic’s larger-scale renovation projects. Ray's favorite part of the job is seeing the transformation once a project is completed, especially kitchen and bathroom projects.

Joe Smith has been with Classic for 13 years. Joe's experience is broad, spanning everything from concrete work and roofing to drywall work, painting and floor installation. As one of our strongest framers, Joe often works on our large additions, outdoor projects or whole house renovations.
Born and raised in Summerville, SC, Joe enjoys spending his down-time with family and friends, lifting weights and playing guitar.

Originally from Kensington, Maryland, Bobby has been with Classic since 2007. He brings with him 28 years of carpentry experience, in both commercial and residential remodeling. With an eye for detail, Bobby often works on our more complex kitchen and bath projects.

Patrick Castello originally hails from Newtown, PA. He has been a Classic employee since 2011 and brought 16 years of experience to the team. He has a degree in OSHA Project Management and is Lead-paint certified.
Patrick most enjoys trim-work and has put his expertise to work on many of Classic’s large kitchen and bathroom projects.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys hitting the beach and checking out his favorite sports teams.

Terry Simon started working at Classic in 2013. With more than 50 years of experience working in every phase of construction, including management and design, Terry brings a wealth of knowledge to the Classic team.
Terry's strengths are in carpentry and finish work, so you’ll often find him working on Classic's larger interior renovation projects.
In his free time, Terry enjoys volunteering and relaxing at the beach.

Originally hailing from San Jose, California, Roger joined Classic in 2015 bringing over 25 years of experience to the team. Specializing in structural and finish work, Roger manages the majority of Classic's repair projects and warranty calls.
When not working Roger enjoys traveling, biking and playing tennis.

Brian originally hails from Bethel, Connecticut and joined the Classic team in 2015. He has over 30 years of experience in carpentry, including production of custom millwork and cabinetry, interior trim work, and period correct restoration. His strengths lie in interior millwork and cabinetry, making him one of our go-to craftsmen for interior projects ranging from kitchens and baths to offices and living areas.

Teddy joined Classic as a Project Craftsman in 2015 with over 30 years of experience in the construction trades, ranging from concrete foundations and roofing to carpentry on both residential and commercial projects. His strong carpentry skills (which include framing, siding and trimwork) as well as his experience as a window and door technician make him ideally suited for many of Classic's larger additions or outdoor projects.
Born and raised on James Island, where he still lives today, Teddy enjoys spending his free time with his wife and family as well as boating, motorcycling and camping.
